Spring 2026 Anime to Watch

Hey Guys! Josh here and this unfortunately is the penultimate blog post here on the site. Upper management has plans for the direction they want to head in and it's better to use resources elsewhere. You can still grab snacks and support the Ramen Shaman/Not so starved brand at https://www.notsostarvedartist.com/

Shout out to Reggie for giving me this platform to reach out to you guys and hip you on anime and the like. I'll make one more blog post for free promo (Thanks reggie) on my podcast The Otaku Collective Podcast where you get the blog stuff in long form content.

But that's for the last blog post. THIS post is all about the upcoming 2026 anime season and what to be on the lookout for starting with my most anticipated anime.

  1. Wistoria Wand & Sword Season 2.

The new season will continue the story of Will Serfort, a boy who cannot use magic in a world where it is essential, as he relies on his swordsmanship to navigate a magical academy and fulfill a promise to his childhood friend. We left off last season (slight spoiler for those who haven't seen) with will and his hazardly formed party successfully defeating the Grand Duke and surviving the praxis. The end of season one closes with them preparing for final exams and I can't wait to see what happens next.

  2. That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime S4.

That's right after two years Tensura is back with season 4 multiple cours and 60+ episodes. Rimuru and the gang will grace your screens in April and the fallout of season 3 and the eastern merchants as well as the letter from the council of the west will all be explored as we enter from what I've been told is one of the deepest arch's in the light novel.

  3. Re:ZERO Starting Life In Another World S4

After A very strong comeback after hiatus with season 3. The Re:Zero season 4 anime revival is set to premiere on April 8, 2026, and will run for 19 episodes across two consecutive cours. The new season continues the story of Subaru Natsuki and his allies after the events in the city of Priestella, adapting the light novel's "Loss Arc" and "Recapture Arc" as they journey to the Pleiades Watchtower.

  4. Daemons of the Shadow Realm

From the creator of one of my favorite anime of all time Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood comes the dark fantasy about two twins one born during the day the other at night and their story as the brother Yuru looks to find the truth of his past alongside two Daemons after his sister attacks their Village changing his world view and overturning everything he thought he knew about his life and destiny.

  5. Dandelion

Set within the Send-Off Department of the Japanese Angel Federation, Dandelion follows "Angels" Tetsuo Tanba and Misaki Kurogane as they scramble to track down Earthbound spirits—souls unable to move on and find peace—and gently guide them to pass on. The angels find themselves struggling to meet their daily tasks. However, Tetsuo Tanba and his leader, Misaki Kurogane, who make up the 21st Division's Dandelion Clan, chose to take things at their own pace: instead of rushing through cases, they take time with each spirit, listening to their regrets and helping them resolve what's holding them back.

And that's five thank you guys for tuning in to the last anime blog post. I'll post a blog on where you can keep up with me and find out more about anime and a bunch of other stuff on my podcast on March 25th. And as an extra bonus be on the look out for the following anime who are also continuing with new seasons: Classroom of the Elite S4, Welcome to Demon School S4, Dr. Stone Science Future Part 3, and Farming Life in Another World S2.
